Big Make: Giant Puppet Workshops

Puppet artists Alison Duddle and Jonny Quick are making a giant puppet as part of Hebden Bridge Arts’ production and community event ‘The Man Who Planted Trees’.

Come and take part in these taster sessions as they create different parts of the puppet. They’ll discuss the process of designing and creating the puppet – working with clay, paper mache and wood. Some power tools will be involved in woodwork, and people can choose which areas they would prefer to be part of, as there will be a variety of activities on offer.

You can sign up for one or all four workshops.

Suitable for 16+ years.

Please note – the puppet will not be completed in these sessions but will be visiting Todmorden College as part of the Creative Community Day on 1st June.

These workshops are ticketed, and donations at time of booking welcome.
