Prince’s Trust TEAM Programme
29 November @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until 17 December 2021
Helping change young lives, the Prince’s Trust scheme is a 12-week personal development programme which aims to increase confidence, motivation and skills and as a result enable young people to move into employment, education, training, volunteering or apprenticeships.
Askham Bryan College, in partnership with The Prince’s Trust, are working together to help tackle youth unemployment in North and West Yorkshire. The College’s Prince’s Trust programmes offer young people the opportunity to develop their personal skills and experience working as part of a team through challenges and projects within their local community, whilst gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
The action-packed programme runs for 12 weeks, including a four-day residential, and aims to build up confidence, giving you the support and motivation to progress onto further education or employment. Young people will get involved in team building activities, a four-day three-night residential trip, a community project and two weeks of work experience during the course. They will also get advice on how to write CVs as well as gaining nationally recognised qualifications. The Team programme is free and you can claim existing benefits if eligible.
