Fashion Revolution! Make, mend, and upcycle

Do you need to darn your socks, fix up or jazz up your jeans? Or turn a piece of well-loved clothing into an upcycled bag? Then come along with your items of clothing to this drop-in. Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th April from 10:00 – 16:00. Free for families, however, children must be supervised. We have four sewing machines and plenty of fabric, needles and thread, and Speedweves if you want to make something fun! This sewing drop in celebrates Fashion Revolution week. This is where people from all over the world come together to demand fair working conditions and wages for garment workers, and an end to the environmentally unfriendly fast fashion industry.  Contact Jennie for more information jennie@tlchub.org.uk.
