Todmorden Learning Centre and Community Hub (TLCCH) is a charitable Community Benefit Society created to ‘Save Tod College’ from closure and the loss of an important community facility within the town. The organisation also has a focus on the urgent need to kick-start new sustainable industries which are essential to combat climate change, transition to a green economy and enable zero carbon culture.

TLCCH are in the final stages of receiving the building asset transfer of Todmorden Community College from Calderdale Council. The successful candidate will be joining the College at the beginning of our journey as a community venue and education provider – a time which is both exciting and challenging. The opportunity exists to play a part in putting the building back at the heart of the community and improving its facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to helping members of the community get the most out of the Centre. The Facilities Coordinator will need to be self-reliant, energetic, able to work on their own initiative, and able to prioritise activities.

They will contribute to the ongoing success of the Centre through their organisational skills, their ability to communicate effectively with all members of the community, practical skills, and ability work as part of a team with colleagues, volunteers, Centre users, and Board members

Full time. £27,500 p.a.
35 hours per week. Based at Todmorden Learning Centre and Community Hub.
