The first of a two part course to familiarise you with the tools and machines in Tod College’s new Woodshop.
Learn how to use a Table Saw, Band Saw, Track Saw and Mitre Saw in the Woodshop at Tod College. Attendees will learn how to do simple and complex cuts in a safe manner. Maximum number of 4 attendees so everyone gets hands on experience. This course is particularly suitable for confident beginners and hobbyist woodworkers. The course is mandatory for those who wish to use these machines in the Woodshop at future open sessions.

Learn how to use a Router Table, Planer/Thicknesser, Sander and Drill Press in the Woodshop at Tod College. Attendees will learn how to operate the machines in a safe manner. Maximum number of 4 attendees so everyone gets hands on experience. This course is particularly suitable for confident beginners and hobbyist woodworkers. The course is mandatory for those who wish to use these machines in the Woodshop at future open sessions.
