On behalf of Todmorden Community Energy, Tod College, and Todmorden Town Council, this is an invitation to take part in an exciting event this summer: the Todmorden Tomorrow Festival.
We are planning a weekend of everything to help people live more sustainable lives – ideas, information, advice, gadgets, skills workshops, motivational entertainment, and a sense of being part of a community that wants to do something positive to combat climate change, protect the environment, and be healthier and happier at the same time!
The event will take place on 6/7 July, 2024, from10:00 till 16:00 each day. It will be held at Tod College but activities in other venues and outdoors may also be possible. Admission will be free and we are hoping to attract an audience of several hundred people each day.
Todmorden and its surrounding area is full of great examples of how we can live more sustainably. We would love to hear from you if you can contribute to the day in some way. There will be spaces for stalls, workshops, discussion groups, practical activities, demonstrations, entertainment, and children’s activities. This is a low budget event and its success will depend of the willingness of the community – organisations and individuals – to share their knowledge and skills with others.
